Owned by Cheyenne Ridge Outfitters, the three miles of controlled river bottom on both sides of the North Platte combine with 5,000 acres of adjacent cropland, creeks and sloughs to make the North Platte Outpost a Nebraska duck hunting and Nebraska goose hunting paradise each fall through mid-February.

Positioned in our roomy, heated, state-of-the-art pit blinds, guests hunt in comfort, benefiting from shooting tips and decoy spread strategies provided by our professional guides, who are skilled at calling waterfowl. Beyond attracting the innumerable green heads and Canada geese, the habitat associated with the North Platte makes for excellent upland bird hunting, including Chinese Ring-necked pheasants. When it comes to Nebraska pheasant hunting, you’ll find our pheasants flush well and fly strong.
